This was a restaurant that suddenly appeared where I was living in Jerez, it has now closed down, interesting for sure. Italian food. That put the English in one corner and the rest of the world spread over the restaurant. Food very heavy.

 Antiga Confeitaria de Belem
Lisbon Portugal 

Visiting Lisbon was a bit of a rush around to see what was needed. But I ended up in the Antiga Confeitaria de Belem.
To taste the famous Custard Tart, and Coffee. The queue was there, and I waited my time before being seated. Very busy, and yes the Custard Tart lived up to its name, simply beautiful. Arthur, and Antony enjoyed their time here. From here it was onto shopping in the main part of Lisbon, the Angel was made by a local artist, the shop The Ceramic Heart. Cute, and sweet. My Pleasure here was simply being there. It was a shame someone tried to stop me from buying something I wanted to buy. People I am free to do what I want, just get out of my way.

Kings Carvery ... A Sunday roast ... Well why wouldn't you. The first stop in Albuferia. The Old Town of the area gave me my first welcome. An English way of living in a Portuguese town. Many Brits set their cases down here. Football on the screen. It's a bit like home from home. Food in abundance. And a quick run around the shops to see what everybody searches for. 

Restaurant Grill 54 ... Old Town Albuferia ... Salmon and Avocado ... I was missing my delights of food. Grilled chicken was becoming the norm so Salmon was certainly welcomed. This salmon was delicate, smooth and delicious, they were very attentive in this restaurant. I would certainly recommend a visit. 

Restaurant Cuica ... On the beach. This was somewhere to enjoy regardless of some of the company. Pedro was so there and ready to serve with a smile. It  does show a really good quality when you give everything you have to your clients or customers. The view of people trying hard to jump the waves was in a sense enjoyable. Walking along the beach gave a one a sense of completeness, it's a shame other people were using it. As an empty beach fills the heart with joy.

Sometimes in life you just have to let go and be at one with yourself and your son who you adore with your heart and soul. It was to be exploring the beach in another part of town. Sunset Beach Club. Comfortable seating with a view of the sea. A coffee for me and a beer for the boy who is now the man of protection. It was quiet considering its the beach. Arthur and Antony also enjoyed the comfortable seating area. Polite staff, ready to please and a view with a view. 

Then a short journey to find yet another beach bar restaurant. Roca. A short walk across the sand and a table by the sea. This was the first time I had the taste of bubbly. My son had the pleasure of German beer. If you want a decent beer choose German or Belgium. A chat about old times and the laughter filled the air. Arthur and Antony watched as the ​people on the beach searched for the sun. Again the service was very pleasing.
